DREAM THEATER Drummer Cancels Personal Appearances

DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Portnoy has cancelled all clinic and autograph sessions, originally scheduled to take place this week, due to medical reasons.

"I regretfully have to cancel my clinic and autograph sessions this week," Portnoy wrote on the band's official web site. "I am bed-ridden with a bad case of bronchitis and potential pneumonia and do not want to risk my health any further. "I apologize to all disappointed fans and the dealers that booked these appearances... I will attempt to reschedule them sometime in the new year."

In other news, Mike Portnoy is featured on the cover of the new issue of Drum! magazine, on sale now. The magazine contains an in-depth feature on life on the road.
